I can understand if a terrorist makes the headlines - but, excuse me - what is a non-terrorist doing up there in every paper, hogging all the limelight? I mean, I never harmed anyone, why doesn’t someone offer me a job with the government departement for ‘not bombing’?

I sympathize with Haneef and their family - only they know how much they’ve been through - but why overdo it? End of the day, he’s just another normal Indian doctor looking out for a good job, so let him be. Why does the CM have to intervene in this issue, and that too personally? Last I checked with him, he claimed that merit was the only means of securing a decent government job. I rubbished that notion then, and hey, I rubbish it again here.

Or maybe, just maybe, this is Kumarasamy’s lame attempt at winning more support from the Muslims to extend his stay at Vidhana Soudha.

As is expected, the media are overexcited with his return. They’re following the lad like a shadow, publishing everything worthy (and otherwise) of him. The only thing left to report is when he eats, shits and farts. Give him a break guys, let him get back to his normal life.

And in the process, give me a break too.
